About the role
SubHosting is an innovative company providing web hosting solutions and developing cutting-edge web applications. Based in Technopark Phase III, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala , we are looking for passionate and motivated Quality Assurance Interns to join our development team. As a QA Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects, contribute to software quality and testing processes, and learn from experienced professionals in a collaborative and agile environment. Key Responsibilities Understand software requirements and assist in preparing test scenarios and test cases. Execute manual test cases and verify application functionality. Identify, document, and track software bugs and issues. Work closely with developers and QA team members to reproduce and resolve issues. Perform functional, regression, and integration testing under guidance. Assist in testing web applications across different browsers and devices. Learn and use QA tools and issue-tracking systems such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools . Perform API testing using appropriate testing tools. Gain exposure to automation testing and assist in developing automated test scripts based on skills and training. Participate in QA discussions, sprint activities, and software release testing. Follow testing best practices and contribute to improving overall software quality. Preferred Skills Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field . Candidates must have completed a recognized Software Testing / Quality Assurance certification . A basic understanding of software testing and QA concepts is required. Relevant academic or project experience in software testing, QA, or automation testing will be an added advantage. Good communication skills, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
