About the role
The Role: Software Engineer (2+ Years Experience) Job Location: India (Mysore) We are seeking a proactive and skilled Software Engineer with 2+ years of professional experience to contribute across our full technology stack. You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services, building robust APIs, and developing intuitive, high-performance user interfaces that power our global e-invoicing solution. A strong background in Java and ReactJS is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities 1. Backend Development & Architecture: ●Design, build, and maintain highly scalable and performant RESTful APIs using our primary backend technology, Java (or Python/Node.js). ●Write clean, testable, and efficient code for core application logic, data processing, and integration with third-party services. ●Develop and manage data models and interaction logic for document-based databases, preferably MongoDB. ●Implement robust security best practices within the APIs and data layers to ensure the integrity and compliance of sensitive financial data. 2. Frontend Development & UI/UX: ●Develop responsive, interactive, and modern user interfaces for our e-invoicing platform using ReactJS (or AngularJS/VueJS). ●Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product managers to translate mockups and requirements into functional application components. ●Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across various devices and browsers. 3. Collaboration & Lifecycle: ●Participate actively in the full software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, unit testing, code reviews, and deployment (CI/CD). ●Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems to improve performance and stability. ●Work collaboratively within an Agile/Scrum environment, contributing to daily stand-ups and sprint goals. Preferred Skills Required Ǫualifications Technical Expertise: ●2+ years of hands-on professional experience in full-stack software development. ● Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. ●Strong proficiency in one or more backend technologies, with a preference for Java (Spring Boot or similar frameworks preferred). ● Solid experience with a modern JavaScript frontend framework, with a preference for ReactJS. ●Experience working with document-based databases, such as MongoDB (or similar NoSǪL databases). ●Understanding of database design, indexing, and query optimization techniques. ●Familiarity with Git/version control and cloud deployment concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, Docker). Soft Skills & Other: ●Excellent problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail. ●Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly and communicate effectively within a cross-functional team. ●A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
